Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Experimental Dept.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 4th instant with reference to one of our bearings that you are using experimentally in your rear axle.

You mention series 3500, but we believe that the one you have in mind and the one you have purchased from us is series 35000. The bearing is known as 35175/35236 and has the following dimensions:

Bore. 1.75"
Outside dia. 3.265"
Width. .875"

We will have two of these bearings made up with the outer race/mirror finished, and let you have them as early as possible.

Yours faithfully,
For BRITISH TIMKEN LIMITED,
