x4578 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}13/KT. April 20th 1933. Commander Burney, 20 Carlton House Terrace, London. S.W.1. Dear Commdr.Burney, Many thanks for your letter of April 18th and for dealing with my application form for the S.A.E. I will certainly try to look you up when I am in London. We are exceedingly busy with various types of motor cars, and hope in the immediate future to be able to do some practical full scale work on streamlining, which may interest you. In this connection I was much enlightened by reading an article in the S.A.E Journal on this subject, and should very much value your opinion on the results contained therein, if you can find time to write me again on the subject. You have probably tried the 45° angle windscreen and can say whether it is a practical proposition. Yours sincerely, | ||
