Dear Sirs, Referring to your letter of the 8th inst., we regret the delay in forwarding to you the detail drawings of our bonnet top plates as discussed with you, but the writer has been away from Derby for approximately a fortnight. The fitting of the Widney Bonnet Hinge to one of our cars has been delayed somewhat by the necessity of fitting a new dashboard, but is now proceeding satisfactorily. We send you herewith drawings of the Bentley bonnet top plates in - (a) Aluminium. (b) Steel. and would like your quotation for - (1) Supplying your bonnet hinge as per the samples which we have. (2) Supplying the aluminium top plates finished to shape with top hinge rivetted to them. (3) Supplying the steel top plates finished to shape with top hinge spot welded to them.
