X 659 C.K. Lane Brothers Company, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Dec. 24th. 1919. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Rd., Derby. X 3755 Purchasing Director. X 659 Gentlemen, This letter is to acquaint you with the LANE HANDLE-CONTROL JACK. Not only the prominent motor car manufacturers of this country but those abroad as well, are rapidly adopting the LANE "H-C" JACK as shown by the enclosed photographs, for standard equipment from year to year, which is indeed an indication of the high regard in which the LANE "H-C" JACK is held by firms who are giving careful attention to the detail of their cars' appointments. The LANE "H-C" JACK will appeal strongly to that class of discriminating motoriers to which the Rolls-Royce particularly caters. The LANE "H-C" JACK is placed underneath the rear of the car by one hand from the extremity of the three-foot JACK handle, operated reversed by a slight backward twitch on the handle, and finally removed, all being accomplished in a natural and easy position entirely away from contact with grease or soil. The LANE "H-C" JACK lifts quickly and with the utmost ease on account of the leverage of the long handle, being constructed throughout of steel, has a maximum of strength yet is light in weight and compact for carrying in the car.
