COPY. GAV/SD. Messrs Bentley Motors (1931) Ltd. 6, Conduit Street, W.1. Vandervell Products Ltd, Western Avenue, Park Royal, W. 3. 31st August, 1936. For the attention of Mr.Bleaney. Dear Sirs, I am in receipt of your letter of 20th instant. It would appear that your Works are not familiar with the type of bearing we suggest fitting. Although we make Lead Bronze Bearings, Cadmium Silver, etc. we would suggest our new Babbitt Bearing made under our new process, which has increased the life by well over 50%. Perhaps as they are not familiar with this new bearing which is universally adopted by practically every manufacturer in the world, it might be as well if I could have the opportunity of discussing this matter, among other products, with your Engineers. I am often in the Midlands and perhaps a meeting could be arranged at your Works to discuss this subject. Naturally I would prefer a motor-car fitted with our products if possible. Yours truly, Vandervell Products Limited, (sgd) C.A.Vandervell Director. | ||
