Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/SM4/L17613 - Mr. Johnson has sent this memo. to me, together with Mr. Haldenby's report upon this jack, with instructions that they should not be issued with cars for which a jack is not likely to be satisfactory. I can anticipate trouble, unless we are very careful. Do you not think it would be better to issue a jack that would be suitable for all purposes. Does not the Millennium cover everything? Did you take into consideration in trying this jack the small handle. Do you consider it long enough to give sufficient leverage? C.
