W.A. Robotham Esq.,
Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

In the April issues of "THE MOTOR" there has been one Technical Review on "Proprietary Pistons", and a number of technical articles, viz. "Developments in High Duty Bearings", giving particulars of the A.C. 9 material, April 11; a summary of modern proprietary steering mechanisms, entitled "From Steering Wheel to Road Wheels", April 18; and an interesting formula for calculating maximum speed and acceleration put forward in the same issue, entitled "Predicting Performance".

Other new cars described are the Raymond Mays Special, April 4, the 2½-litre Studebaker and two new Daimlers, April 25. Road tests are as follow:-

April 4 Ford V8
Riley Twelve
April 11 4-litre Sunbeam Talbot
Chevrolet
April 18 Standard Fourteen
Fiat "500" 4-seater.

There were no road tests in the issue of April 25 which was the New Car Number, and contained abbreviated specifications of all models on the British market.

Sincerely yours,
Laurence Pomeroy
TECHNICAL EDITOR
