X102/ Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}6/KW. 7th October, 1935. C.W. Ward, Esq., Messrs. Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, London, N.W.10. Dear Mr. Ward, I was interested to read in the 21st September number of "Automotive Industries", page 391, of various new methods of rust proofing which have recently been developed by the Americans. In view of the resistance which is likely to be encountered with the all-steel body due to the possibility of rust, doubtless you are following up these developments. I was particularly interested in the process where the paint can be made to crack but the surface underneath was still free from rust. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
