S.S CHASSIS STARTER MOTOR & DATA MACHINE.

We are now able to give you the new particulars for two 41 slot armatures for the above machines, the diameter at the small end has been increased so that we get only half the amount of taper than previously, new winding wire will be needed (D.71710) and if the armature cores previously instructed can be used again the existing winding support can be taped to bring it up to diameter in place of D.71795, the new armature is:-

D.71797 - L.O.P. & Armature Arrgt.
D.71710 - Wire for Armature Winding.
D.71716 - Oil Thrower.
D.71795 - Winding Support.
D.71717 - Armature Coil.

This move will involve new details on the bearing bracket section and the new parts required are:-

D.71799 - Oil Drain Pipe.
D.71800 - Oil Catcher.
D.71812 - Washer - Bearing Bracket.

The poles will require modifying and the old pieces can be utilised to produce the new ones -

D.71798 - Pole Piece.
