PHANTOM 111 - AMMETER. This is to confirm my verbal instruction that Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} agrees it will be necessary to replace all Phantom 111 ammeters by instruments which have been corrected. To do this it was agreed by Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} that we send a competent man to change the instruments at owners houses, and at the same time examine that:- (a). Carbon with longer pigtail is fitted in starter switch. (b). The switch contacts are not burned. (c). The sequence of making contact is as in RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}4/JH.3.12.37. Handwritten text (left margin): Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} We have now the new fuses available but we are trying to get these early, I would intend it be included in my scheme in many cases to send the fuses post, say replaces 1 or 2 fuse holders with fuses enclosed.
