TO DY.{F R Danby} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/M7.4.27. Copy to - HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BRAKE SQUEAK DAMPERS. [Handwritten:] X4612 (crossed out) X 5420 X 5420 With reference to R's comment that the squeak damper should be narrow, and fitted into a broad groove, the latter feature has been indicated on the damper designed for the 20HP. front brakes, and it can be put on to those for the Phantom. What we are waiting for is confirmation from the Exp. Dept. that they are satisfied with the narrow damper. They reported originally that the damper required to be nearly the full width of the drum to be completely effective. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
