Re: BENTLEY CHASSIS N° B.6.BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}

With reference to our letter of the 4th instant, reference VA2/GM and the crankshaft which we sent to your Works as per our OS.268I of the 9th instant, for re-nitriding, we shall be pleased to hear from you as to whether you consider the re-nitriding operation which you carried out as being a satisfactory job in every way.

We have no means ourselves of ascertaining at our Rue Gide Workshops, the degree of hardness etc.. obtained after re-nitriding.
