To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 340 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.16/AP.15.7.37 PH.III. RADIATOR STEAM VALVE. We send you herewith scheme Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}417 which shows a ball type steam valve which we wish to test for the std. Ph.III. radiator. This valve should be a good deal cheaper than the existing valve and further, will not interfere with the proposed schemes for lowering the external filler cap. Attached also are detail drawings of the parts required Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}418, Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}419, Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}420 and Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}421. Will you please have these parts made as soon as possible. Will you please suspend any work on scheme Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}410 (For Continental car) until we have tested the above scheme. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
