Paris. Chartres. Orleans. Blois.
Heavy snow for most of journey. Greatly delayed by chains breaking. Parsons no good. "Off and on" design etc. good but life appears to be only about 200 miles after which breakages occur continually.
Wings somewhat damaged by broken ends of chains.
The hammer supplied with tool kit is a toy and might be good for breaking toffee. For any serious work requiring a hammer it is useless.
It should be condemned at once and a 2 lb. fitter's hammer supplied.
Car running well.
Controls rattle developed in steering column head.
