Dear Mr.Ward,

Re: Wheel Discs.

You will recall that when I visited you yesterday, I noticed a pale blue wheel disc in your office, and you said you had four others. I have learnt from Mr.Grylls that these were sent to Messrs.Cornercroft some-time ago for them to paint, and they have inadvertently been sent to you by mistake.

We apologise for troubling you, but we would be very glad if you could arrange to have them packed up and sent to us in Derby, marked for the attention of Mr.Grylls.

We realise you have been very busy just lately, and therefore have possibly overlooked the matter of painting the sample disc which we sent to you, together with our description of the method of painting, given to us by Messrs. Rubery Owen.

As soon as you have been able to call on Messrs.Talbots to investigate the specialized method of masking which they use, we would be glad if you could make the painting experiment, and return the disc to us.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.

Car Project Office.
