x1049 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}28/KW. 15th July, 1936. The Buick Motor Co.Ltd., Flint, Michigan, U.S.A. For the attention of Mr. W.C. Haight. Dear Sirs, Thank you very much indeed for the Buick Series Service Manual. As Mr. Olley possibly told you, we were particularly impressed by the steering stability of the Buick "Century" model, and wonder whether it would be possible for you to supply us with the geometry of the wheel movement on this car. What we are really interested in is the plane of movement of the wheel between maximum bump and maximum rebound, and the total vertical movement of the wheel. Yours very truly, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
