We all do agree that we can, without risk, proceed to make Radiator Tubes with the simple modification of indents, and there should be no risk whatsoever.

A Standardisation Sheet has been sent round the Works and everybody here has signed it; R.{Sir Henry Royce} also has signed it.

Therefore I strongly recommend the immediate adoption; indeed I have assumed that you will agree and am instructing BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} that all further Radiators are built up with the indented tubes.

You are right in assuming that the existing stocks of tubes can be indented.

There are, of course, a number of Radiators built up that will have to be used up without these indentations on both types of chassis, but my note to you means that there will be no future radiators built without the indentations.
