(COPY.) X1033 HONEYPOT LANE, STANMORE, Middlesex. 18th May 1938. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, re CARBURETTER FOR PHANTOM III ENGINE. Further to our letter of 13th instant, we have now heard in a report from our Mr.Fisher, that it will be necessary to provide only one No. 58 Idle Feed Hole in the bottom of the main discharge jet tube, and we shall be glad to have your confirmation of this. Incidentally we would like to point out that the total quantity of main discharge jet tubes required is now completed and all have been provided with four No. 58 idle feed holes. Mr. Fisher also specifies that the level shall be adjusted to 5/8" from the top of the bowl of the carburetter under a head equivalent to a pressure of 1.25 lbs. per square inch.
