Maximum crankcase oil temperature reached was 132°C. There was every indication that this would rise still further if high lap speeds were continued, it therefore should not be taken as a maintained figure.

Maximum under bonnet temperature 42.5°C.

Outside air temp. 11°C.

Petrol consumption taken over 3 high speed runs 13.5 average speed 47 m.p.h.
