Sidgreaves - MD}WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BENSPORT CLUTCH. Herewith we send N.sch.3493 shewing a modification to the suggestion for providing an oil drain for the clutch spigot bearing if some automatic system of lubrication is provided. This modification is required by the increase in the size of the crankshaft shewn on the last LeC. drawing. We have shewn alternative methods of locking the ball bearing retaining nut. The one judged to be the most convenient should be chosen. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
