Y5770 To BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG5.10.25. DELIVERY OF 'INDIA' CHASSIS+ Y5770 Y5370 This point was discussed with R.{Sir Henry Royce} at W.W. R.{Sir Henry Royce} waw no reason why the present India chassis which have been despatched should not be delivered to customers. A large number of the criticisms on the India car apply equally on the present standard 20 HP. car. The two worst faults on 9-G-111 were undoubtedly servo jaggers and servo rattles. These faults have not been complained of on any of the production cars and there is no reason why India should be any different to Phantom cars in this respect. As regards the front axles. We have received a modified design from WW. which will mean alteration to the dies. Any new axle forgings will be made to this improved design. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
