We have claimed for the past 13 years that the efficiency of Houdailles never varies. This is, of course, a fact and is due to the Houdaille master patent; Automatic Recuperation of the working chamber; see 2 page line drawings in the catalogue - THIS PROVES THAT

Houdaille cleverly took advantage of the pumping action of the rotating impeller to procure this effect, and the result is that so long as there is a drop of castor oil in the recuperator chamber air is at all times excluded from the working chamber. No other Hydraulic Shock Absorber can embody this. Houdailles should outlast the life of any car they may be fitted to, as there being only one moving part - constantly in oil - wear is absolutely negligible.

Many thousands of pairs of Houdailles have been sold in this country, and, as you are aware, they are a device which, adding increased comfort and reducing upkeep expenditure by the permanent elimination of all wheel bouncing, are held in the highest public esteem.

Yours faithfully,

THE HOUDAILLE HYDRAULIC SUSPENSION CO.LTD.

Managing Director.
