206 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale}1/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 10th April, 1937. The Manganese Bronze & Brass Co.,Ltd., Handford Works, IPSWICH. Your Ref: LGP/ER. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 6th inst. from which we gather the bush we sent you was an oilite bush. This we had not realised as we had nothing to do with fitting it. Our trouble is that the bushes GB.2332, your type FGH.3, wear very badly, and we were looking for an alternative material. Under the circumstances, we shall not require further supplies for experimental purposes. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
