PETROL TANK FILLER CAP.

With reference to the 20 HP. Petrol Filler cap. We propose standardising the method of fixing the cap by means of a chain so that even if it is not fixed properly, it cannot be lost.

With regard to the complaint of the 40/50 mentioned in your memo. We think it is very doubtful whether R.{Sir Henry Royce} would agree to altering the design because of a practical joker being able to release the pressure. If you wish, of course, we could take this up with R.{Sir Henry Royce} on our next visit.

We should like to know whether this is an isolated case on the 40/50.

At the Works, we are very pleased with the present 40/50 Petrol tank filler cap.
