Coverley - Production Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}1/R.14.9.37. Special High-geared Axle. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}8/KW.13.9.37. When Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} was here the other day asking about a special high-geared axle for Thistlethwaites car, we told him that whereas the standard axle was 8/34, we had in the Experimental Department one set each of ratios 8/33 (3% higher) and 9/35 (8% higher). These are American made gears and there is no tackle in the Factory for making more like them. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
