Re: YOUR PATENT APPLICATION NO. 37227/38,
(BENTLEY PISTON).

We have now been advised by Messrs. Wellworthy Piston Rings Limited that it has been agreed that we are to prepare the complete specification in connection with the above, and subsequently to forward it to you for your comments or approval.

In this connection we shall be grateful if you will kindly let us have whatever up-to-date drawings are available showing the shape of the combustion space and piston head, and at the same time we should like to know, as far as you can tell us, what are the permissible limits in the various relevant dimensions.

If it is the intention of yourselves and Messrs. Wellworthy that we should prosecute the application to its conclusion, i.e., deal with the Patent Office objections (if any), it will be
