Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Mr. West.
re: Electrical Rev. Indicators.

In reply to your letter of the 15th inst, we very much regret to advise you that we are not, at the moment, in a position to give you the complete cost of the above instrument, as this is not yet entirely on a production basis. We have been in communication with Messrs J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Lucas in connection with this matter as we understand that there is not sufficient room for the electric speedometer generator as a separate unit. It is therefore, proposed to embody this in the Lucas dynamo.

We are working in conjunction with Messrs Lucas on this matter and will endeavour to let you have some definite information in the near future.

With regard to the instrument itself, we have referred this matter to Mr. Nichols who will no doubt be able to give you an approximate cost.

Assuring you of our best attention.

Yours faithfully,
for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.
