To WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X180. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LGL.7.27. EXPERIMENTAL CARS. 40/50 HP. 98-NK. Open touring. This is an old car which is used for steering wobble and destructive tests. 7-EX. Barker all-weather. Being used by R.{Sir Henry Royce} 8-EX. Phantom 'W' series, with improvements, and body mounted on sub-frame. 10-EX. EAC.11. type chassis frame - non-standard. This car is at present at Messrs. Barkers having body re-built. This car is being made into a speed car to R's instructions. 12-EX. EAC.V111 type. Has run 10,000 miles in France. 14-EX. EAC.V11. This is a new design of chassis. A body is being prepared and it is expected that this car will go to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence at the end of next month. Fitted with Hooper body EAC.1. This is a special chassis and a number of parts including frame, springs, axle and brakes are scrap. Hawk- This is a scrap chassis fitted with Hawk aero Northcliffe. engine. This car has not been run for 2 or 3 yrs. It is at present stored away. 20 HP. 9-G-111 open touring. 10-G-111. Barker cabriolet mounted on subframe. This car is being used at WW. 11-G-111. Barker limousine mounted on subframe. 1-G-1. This is a scrap chassis. It is only used for comparative tests. Hispano. This car is very seldom used but we think it is still a useful car for us to have for comparison during experiments. Lancia Lambda. This is still a useful experimental car.
