It has been a longer job than anticipated to adapt the C.A.V. generator - but it should be despatched definitely today.

I have just received your report dated 15th.inst. I am attaching to this memo. a sheet with a few questions, on which we should be very pleased to have your remarks.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} has arrived at W.W. and is keeping 4-Goshawk-11 there.

We are hoping that there will be some settlement in the "lock-out" business very shortly. We have received instructions from London (which we are not acting upon at the moment) to go to France or Belgium and get experimental parts for the Goshawk made there.

I consider that 6-Goshawk-11 should continue to run out there even when it has completed 10,000 miles, until the works have started. We should not be able to do anything with it here until the Works resume work.
