To Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from EPC. c. to Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to EH. X.295 EPC1/T22.11.19. X.3647 X.295. DYNAMO FOR 10,000 MILE TEST CAR We attach a blue print giving the outside dimensions of the Smith dynamo. Will you kindly get out a scheme for the fixing of this dynamo to the chassis. It is considered that although we have no idea at the moment of changing to the Smith dynamo, and that the Lucas machine is having a good test on all the cars which are running about, that we may as well fit the Smith dynamo to the 10,000 mile car for this test so that we shall have this to fall back upon in the event of the Lucas being unsatisfactory. We have not yet received the new dynamo which they have promised us with a better finish, but we are expecting this any moment now. EPC. TYPD IN SECRETARIAL DEPT. R.R. Ld. | ||
