Repairs to rubber connections, an oil pipe, and a tyre locking ring for a Goshawk vehicle.

Both top and bottom rubber connections from radiator to engine were renewed. The oil pipe which broke was that from pump to back of engine under exhaust and inlet pipes. It broke an inch or so above union securing it to pump. When the tyre came off the demountable looking ring came off also and was lost. We replaced it with another supplied by the courtesy of a friend of mine, the representative of the U.S. Rubber Cº. He informs me he now fits a locking device for straight sided rims which prevents the locking ring from coming off in case of bursts. If this interests you I will bring you particulars.
