Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}10/L7115. Sheet. 2 by any means accurate and I do not see that it can be made to really work accurately as I should say that the success in working depends on the liberal clearances in the various working parts. If these were closed up I feel sure the parts would stick. The dial is too small to be really satisfactory as it is not easy to read. On the whole I do not think the fitting to be of good enough class to adopt on R.R. cars. If we require a gauge we should adopt something which will give more accurate and easily read results. The gauge we have came from The Simms Motor Units Ltd. but I have an idea that it is made in the United States. [Watermark: DICKINSON BOND] | ||
