48380 To AJS. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} } FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} SECRET. R13/M3.3.25. c. to CJ. BJ. c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} RG.{Mr Rowledge} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 'V' SERIES. X.8830 X.8380 To me it is absolutely necessary to at once get on the new side levers which are so much neater for room, and give the coachbuilders a chance to make a neat and strong scheme past them. They also permit the use of the steel underframe. The body you are proposing for my use - i.e. open, with glass windows, and Beatonson head, (light cabriolet) with 4 doors must be built on our steel underframe. I do not know what is delaying this. Will AJS. and DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} report? R.{Sir Henry Royce} [Watermark: 1504 MADE AT CROXLEY] | ||
