X.6004. 48 COIL P.2. DYNAMO OUTPUT ON L.H. CHASSIS.

May we please ask you to remember the
Electrical Experimental Dept. when sending memos
concerning the operation of the electrical system.
It was necessary for us to obtain a copy of
Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}9/T10.2.31 from Ry's Dept.

In regard to the drop of output after the
machine has once left the production test we have,
in our latest specification (i.e. for 48 coil medium
output P.2. dynamos) made the necessary allowance
for this. A report on the brush bedding problem
generally is in preparation and you will receive a
copy, this will deal with the details of the situation.

We have not been in the habit of addressing
copies of the production specification of inspection
and test of electrical units to yourself when issuing
these, though sometimes we have handed copies of
these to Mr.Dakin or Mr.Archer. We could, if
you thought it necessary or expedient, include you
every time when issuing specifications.
