CARBURETTER FLOODING. I have received memo' Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}7/R.26.5.35. and the necessary drawings for this job were received from the D.O. this morning. We will arrange to fit this modification on the 1st Chassis in "J" Series which is due to be sent to the Test Dept. week commencing July 8th. We will also arrange to supply 40 sets per week of these parts to deal with chassis in the Test Dept. and outside, namely from the 181st Chassis in "D2" Series. Will Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} please note that the above information will answer the query he raised a few days ago as to when these parts could be supplied and the Experimental Dept. to cease manufacture of same.
