To HPS. {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.8/AP.20.1.37.

3.B.1V. RADIATOR.

Referring to our memo Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.16/AP.19.1.37., we think that in order to avoid delaying the car, the best procedure would be to build up a new radiator, standard except for the 52 mm. Mk.Vl. {V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} matrix mentioned in above memo, and we will interchange this with the radiator on 3.B.1V. before the car goes away.

The radiator off 3.B.1V., fitted with a suitable matrix and reconditioned if necessary (we will instruct for this radiator shortly) can be sent to France for 6.B.1V.
