No hope of coolant addition to all exp. cars + all [struck out] cars to be capable of consistently covering 5000 miles without the addition of water being necessitated, whatever the driving conditions.
(c) Corrosion etc - at least [struck out] one [struck out] to be in service for at least six months without the cooling system being disturbed, without any serious signs of corrosion or choking of the matrices at the end of this period. Further, as far as possible cooling system parts should not be changed from chassis to chassis, so enabling data to be obtained from other chassis.
