Front Springs & Fittings. 7020. Recommended perfectly safe to order Firth's Springs for first 20 chassis. Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} pointed out that these will cost about 25% more than Woodheads. Exp. Dept. have still to try out Woodheads before they can release them.
Rear Springs & Fittings. 7030. -do-
Steering Column & Box. 7050. Held up for design; Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} however, hopes to clear end of next week.
Side Steering Tube. 7070. -do-
Petrol Tank. 7080. Works all clear.
Pedals. 7100. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will release this week.
Dashbrackets & Footboards. 7130. -do-
Petrol Piping. 7140. -do-
Oil Pump on Dash. 7141. -do-
Oil Pipes & Fittings. 7142. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will release Bijur Oil Pipes & Fittings in 2 or 3 weeks.
Rear Shock Damper. 7150. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will release all fittings this week except those affecting gland.
Front Axle Control Damper. 7160. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will release middle of next week.
Anchorage for Front Axle Control Damper. 7161. -do-
Horn & Fittings. 7320. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will release this week.
Spanners & Tools. 7400. Held up by Exp. for discussion with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}
Spares. 7420. -do-
Instrument Board. 7190. Recommended first 20 sets be released (as standard for 20/25).
Battery & Fittings. 7290. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will release this week.
