X.4308. S.S. CHASSIS SPEEDOMETER.

I have your By {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Mtn10/N18.9.29 which I do not understand because my previous information from your Dept. is that
S.S. speedometer revs. per car mile of drive = 826
S.S. " " per counter " of instruments supplied = 810.

the speedometer drive gear ratios being

41/11 x 26/8 x 2/18 = 1.346 O.K.

Will you therefore please let me know
(1) To what your figure of 765 refers.
(2) The new speedometer drive gear ratios, if these have been altered.
