Many thanks for your letter HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/1-MY-14234 which I received only today. It has been difficult to keep in contact with mail owing to my moving around the country.

I am sorry you had such trouble with the Bentley front brakes, but my own were certainly intolerable. I must say the chamfering almost entirely eliminated the trouble.

I am going to Curtiss-Wright tomorrow on a final visit, and shall do all I can to get the information asked for by ACL on ethylene glycol cooling.
