X. 3873 4548 16 Extract from El/G23.2.20. X.3803 - RE INDUCTION PIPES FOR "BUZZARD" ENGINE X.3873. X.3832. With regard to the queries in your memo, the "Buzzard" back axle ratio may be taken as being about the same as that of the Vulture, but if anything slightly higher, since it has a larger voltmetric displacement. It is X.3802 X.3934.intended that the "Buzzard" shall run up to 4,000 R.P.M. before the valve gear jumps, and that there shall be no noticeable falling off in the power curve before 2,000 R.P.M. Mr. Royce would like you to include, if possible, the clamping bolts passing through the elbows of the induction pipe LeC.1207 (?8) so as to take account of any loss they may cause. | ||
