Dear Mr.Grilles, Pursuing our telephone conversation of this afternoon, I am addressing this letter to you in the hope that you will pass it on to Mr.Rowbottom in due course. Subject to approval, I would like to visit you again on Monday Jan.16th, in company with F.Gordon Crosby, to complete the article, and arrange for illustrations. I am sending you a draft of the commencement of the story, in order that Mr.Rowbottom may see if he thinks that I am striking the right note. If he does not approve, I am quite ready to tear it up and start again, for I am most anxious to put a story across in a way which exactly suits the Rolls-Royce interests as well as those of the readers of THE AUTOCAR.
