BENTLEY HEADLAMPS
-----------------

Kindly note arrangements have been concluded with Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd* whereby they accept return of all the Headlamps of the original type, i.e. X.166, fitted to Bentley cars, and give us delivery of the improved type, i.e. OBD.167. SBD.E5 - bulk deliveries of which should commence about the middle of next week.

We understand you have some 14 cars in London and district fitted with such Headlamps, and think it would be advisable for you to pass Messrs. Lucas formal order covering the actual quantity you require delivered either direct to Conduit Street or the various Coachbuilders.

We note from CX{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}29/KW23.1.34 that there are four cars further afield, i.e., Glasgow, Edinburgh, Northampton, and Huddersfiled.

The price of the new Lamps will be £6. 4. 6d Nett per pair.

Meantime we have placed a bulk order with Messrs Lucas for 100 pairs for delivery direct to these Works as and when required, but advised them that initial deliveries must be at your disposal.
