Rubber Shackles on 10,000 miles P.III. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}7/E9.4.36

Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}28/KW.8.4.36 I note reference is made to the manufacture of suitable springs for testing out the above.

This is the first time I have heard of special springs being necessary but, as pointed out in my memo. of yesterday, we had the information from America not later than last Christmas in regard to this matter so, if special springs are necessary, I cannot imagine why the matter was not dealt with many months ago instead of just now.
