REAR OF BODY. This is to house the rear wheel carrier which is part of the chassis which will be supplied by R-R Ltd. The number plate is to have interior illumination, and this light is to be made to illumine the rear wheel to facilitate wheel changing after dark. The lower portion of the tail must be made detachable to enable the petrol tank to be reached, but its removal need not be extremely facile. Under the spare wheel is a well in which spare tubes and the like can be housed. Ventilation louvres are to be fitted in the tail just aft of the wing to allow the escape of hot air which rises and would heat up the rear seats when the car is allowed to stand immediately after a fast run.

LAMPS. The Head Lamps are the Lucas Improved Pattern fitted with dipping gear. The lamps brackets and dipping mechanism will be supplied by R-R Ltd. The side lights are to be of the Chrysler Type fitted on the extreme edge of the wing, and supplied by the coach-builder

FLOOR. The floor is to be covered with Sorbo Matting or any other suitable material which we may ask for of like character. The boards are to be all framed in a light mahogany, and lined over the exhaust side with sheet asbestos. There is to be a well for the feet of the rear passengers.

TOOL ACCOMMODATION. Tools and spares are carrier in two streamline boxes made by the coachbuilder, but brackets will be fitted to the chassis to support them by R-R Ltd.

INSTRUMENT BOARD. The design for this will be submitted later. The coachbuilder will only be called upon to supply the board and <strike>will</strike> fit the instruments which we will supply.

HOOD. The hood is to be made to be concealed when down. It should have a metal frame and be fastened at the centre as well as at the sides of the screen when up.

WIRING. R-R Ltd. will undertake to do thew wiring of the car if the coachbuilder will inform them when he is ready.

OTHER ITEMS. The coachbuilder is to supply and fit a Boa-Constrictor Wind Horn. All nickel parts to be Close Plated or heavily nickel plated on copper by electrolysis. The observances of all the clearances on the chassis are essential.

FINISH. Instructions will be issued later concerning the colour of the finish, the upholstery etc. The latter will be Connelly's Enamelled Hide.
