Raymond Mays is selling his 4 1/2-litre Bentley No. B.24.GA and handing it over to us at the end of next week for sale.

He is going away to South Africa racing, and will be away about 3 months. We are to have a new car ready for him on his return.

He writes us as follows:-

"I should also like you to bear in mind that my car is fitted with experimental front brakes which gives terrific braking on the front. The brakes are exceptionally powerful and very good, and I should like this modification including in the new car, plus any further modifications you have since made."

I shall be glad to have your comments upon this:-

Do you think we are safe in selling this car with these brakes on, or should they be removed?

Do you wish to fit another set on the new car?

C.
