This, incidentally, will have the effect of decreasing the track of the front wheels, but should not affect the lock. It will further necessitate the use of the jack under the front springs when changing either of the front wheels, since the pads specially provided for this purpose on the axle itself, will now be too near the front wheels to provide sufficient space for the insertion of the jack.
