PRIORITY TELEPHONE CALLS. The following paragraph is an extract from a letter from the Post Office :- "Experience throughout the country has demonstrated that the facility is unfortunately being abused. Such unwarranted use of this special service has a serious effect on genuinely urgent calls, and in view of the vital importance of the matter from the national point of view, I have been instructed to ask for your co-operation in ensuring that the use of the facility is rigidly restricted to its proper function so far as your firm is concerned." I shall be glad if you will make sure that the privilege we have is not being wrongfully used. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
