Bailey - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.14/AP.22.4.37 Attachment of Bonnet Rest Angles to Radiator Yoke on Ph.III. Cars. The attachment of the bonnet rest angle to the yoke on Ph.III. is made in such a manner that it is impossible to remove the radiator without distortion and bending of both the rest angle and the radiator mounting, this being due to the fact that the supporting bracket on the yoke fits inside the rest angle instead of outside, so that the radiator cannot be lifted vertically (see LeC.4583) This has been corrected on Wraith I. and a similar correction should be made at once on Ph.III. Will you please issue a scheme for this correction and request By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} to instruct it for Production. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
