Re: Gordon Armstrong Suspension.
------------------------------

We are sending you herewith the set of drawings which have been sent to us by Mr. Gordon Armstrong, as remarked upon in our BY.21/N.14/8.36.

We thought that you would be interested in looking over the parts, but these have obviously only been produced with a very large factor of safety, as the car had to be run without risk on a first attempt.

The Experimental Department have received a set of suspension parts, and these will be available for examination in the Experimental Department.

It is possible that the set of parts sent to us are for another maker of car, as he remarked in his letter that he is sending us one case containing one set of suspension parts taken from another car for our convenience.

Will the Experimental Department kindly arrange to return the parts when E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} has seen them.

BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
